Komodo Island is one of the new wonders of the world which was released some time ago . Komodo Island is located in the western Manggarai regency . Komodo Island is home to the Komodo national park along with the island of Rinca and Padar islands that play a role in the preservation of dragons that exist on the island . Komodo national park itself has an area of approximately 1817 square kilometers . Komodo Island is also one of the UNESCO world heritage site . Many local and foreign tourists who visit the island of Komodo to see firsthand one of the ancient animals that were still alive at the same time enjoying the awesome scenery on the island of Komodo . Komodo itself is animals including giant lizards that lived since ancient times and today can only be found in Indonesia, on the island of Komodo national park.

On the island of Komodo , visitors can see one of the remaining ancient animals and, if lucky , visitors can feed directly the komodo dragons that will certainly be an unforgettable experience for visitors .

In addition to seeing dragons , visitors can also enjoy the stunning coastal scenery so called Pink Beach . As the name implies , this beach has pink sand that is not contained in the other beaches . Someone mentioned that the pink color in the sand fraction is due to the crushed coral on the beach , but there is a mention that the pink color comes from a type of amoeba that animals produce a reddish color on the reef .

Pink beach visited by many tourists due to the pristine beach with no buildings or houses , even there is no commercial buildings in the area . But to get to that place , travelers must pass through the damaged roads and potholes or by hiring a local fishing boat .

In the pink beach , tourists can do snorkeling to see the marine life that is fabulous in the pink sandy beaches. The increasingly looks beautiful beach with calm waves there and the surrounding green hills .
